Background
The town of Holly Ridge, NC, is in the process of building Liberty Fountain Park intended to honor all veterans, past, present and future. Our Liberty Fountain Park will feature a fountain and a flag display. There will be seven flags -- the American flag, a flag for each branch of the service, the state flag and the town flag.

Benches (honorary and memorial) are provided so visitors and local residents alike will have the opportunity to reflect on and honor their loved ones. We will also have memorial bricks beneath the the flag display and honorary bricks surrounding the fountain.

Our objectives are to e
xpress our gratitude to fallen service members and to provide an area for people who want a place to visit to reflect and find peace. We can never thank our veterans enough for what they do each and every day to give us the liberties we enjoy living in these great United States.
